Quick call into East Midlands on the way home
So after leaving Leeds Bradford I made a stop at Donnington Services and then it was a pit stop at East Midlands Airport. Always nice to see the Boeing 747-400F on the ground, this visit I was lucky enough to catch two of them in the liveries of Saudia and One Air.
In the Airbourne Colours was what looked like a CRJ900 of cityjet being paint in SAS colours, but the door wasn't open fully so I couldn't get the Registration as it was nose on to the hangar door.
Here's what was noted around 12:45 on the 28th August:
EI-EKD Ryanair Boeing 737-800
EI-EST Ryanair Boeing 737-800
9H-AKA Saudia Boeing 747-400F
EC-JXF Swiftair ATR72F
G-DHLE DHL Boeing 767-300F
G-BMRA DHL Boeing 757-200F
G-ONEE One Air Boeing 747-400F
G-DHLK DHL Boeing 767-300F
G-BMRJ DHL Boeing 757-200F
G-NPTF West Atlantic ATR72F
One that I couldn't see sadly was Boeing 737-800F A9C-JNC Which was in the hangar for painting or repairs I guess.

First Visit To Leeds Bradford Airport
I'm running a couple of days behind with my blogs due to work and family commitments. My visit to Leeds Bradford was made on Thursday 28th August.
So today I made a first time visit to Leeds Bradford Airport. I'd been sent up to the Hull area with work, so I thought I'd call in here to see if there was anything about.
Sadly as many people that visited here now it is very slow and not much in variety of movements.
The following where noted at around 11:35
EI-ENP Ryanair Boeing 737-800
G-JZBW Jet2 Boeing 737-800
G-GDFZ Jet2 Boeing 737-800
G-GDFN Jet2 Boeing 737-300
G-GDFK Jet2 Boeing 737-300
It was nice to see some of the older Jet2 Boeing 737-300 instead of the normal 737-800 and Airbus Fleet. Would I come back here probably yes, just for the chance to photograph the Boeing 737 Classic models before they become coke cans

Back To Work And Back To Birmingham
So it was back to work today. After going into the depot for my list of jobs I was off out and about the Solihull area and obviously I would be making a quick stop at Birmingham Airport. The star visitor today was La Compagnie’s other Airbus A321Neo F-HBUZ which was running late so I sadly missed.
So whilst in the Minworth area I managed to the Turkish Airlines Airbus A321Neo TC-LUP departing back to Istanbul.
The following where noted around 1130:
G-TUKX TUI Boeing 737-800
EI-EFH Ryanair Boeing 737-800
EI-DHX Ryanair Boeing 737-800
G-SUND Jet2 Airbus A321Neo
G-CMMT Aer Lingus Regional ATR72
EC-MBY Vueling Airbus A320
G-SUNG Jet2 Airbus A321Neo

A Lovely Sunny Day In The Garden Seeing Aeroplanes On Approach To Birmingham Airport!
So as today was the last bank holiday of the year in England and the sun was beating down we decided to have a family day in the back garden. Pool out, BBQ out and then the youngest shouted "Look Daddy a Jet2". looking up she was rite a Jet2 Airbus A321Neo banking over my house.
Checking Flight Radar the runway in use was indeed. When This runway is in use I probably get around 40% of all traffic.
So from around midday this is what I noted:
G-SUNC Jet2 Airbus A321Neo
EI-IFW Ryanair Boeing 737Max8-200
OE-LST easyjet Airbus A320Neo
A7-BCV Qatar Airways Boeing 787-8
9H-WME Wizz Air Airbus A321Neo
G-JZBD Jet2 Boeing 737-800
G-PEMB Aurigny ATR72
G-TAWV TUI Boeing 737-800
F-HBLD Air France EMB190
EI-DWH Ryanair Boeing 737-800
TC-SOB Sun Express Boeing 737 Max8
G-DRTR Jet2 Boeing 737-800
OM-LEX Jet2 Boeing 737-800
G-SUND Jet2 Airbus A321Neo
EI-IGO Ryanair Boeing 737 Max8-200
EI-DPF Ryanair Boeing 737-800
EI-IHW Ryanair Boeing 737 Max8-200

EI-DHX Ryanair Boeing 737-800
PH-HSD KLM Boeing 737-800
9H-VVS Ryanair Boeing 737 Max8-200

So around 1800 I'd had enough sun and went inside. Some new aircraft that I needed went the other way over Tamworth. "You Can't Win Em All"
