Late Summer Early Morning Visit To Manchester

Well it was back to my second home in the north this morning, Manchester Airport. So after a quick up at level 13 on the terminal one multi storey car park, I headed round to the south side viewing mounds. As I've said in my previous blogs when the sun is shining and it behind up there is no better place for me in the United Kingdom for plane spotting and photography.

The good thing that I love about Manchester is the early morning heavy traffic from the Middle East and Asian Countries. So here's what was noted around 0930 this morning:

    SE-RFZ TUI Boeing 787-9
    A6-EVB Emirates Airbus A380
    G-VRAY Virgin Atlantic Airbus A330
    B-20DT Juneyao Airlines Boeing 787-9

    G-EZUA easyjet Airbus A320

Super Sunday With A Couple Of Visits to Birmingham!

Snook out the house this morning to catch the first visit of the One Air Boeing 777F G-ONEG making its first visit from Baku whilst operating Silk Way West Airlines. This was just a quick visit for a photograph. At this time of the morning (06:00) the other aircraft are the same as I logged the other day. So after a quick five minutes I was back on the road home.

Later on in the day after being driven crazy by the children to go skating, I once again called in Birmingham to see what was about, and I could sum it up in one word "nothing". With the summer season now coming to an end I personally think that the winter is going to be slow with the number of movements, but hopefully the freight movements will bring the airport some interesting movements.

The following aircraft noted at around 17:45

    G-EZFT easyjet Airbus A319
    TC-JSY Turkish Airlines Airbus A321
    9H-WNP Wizz Air Airbus A321Neo
    D-AILB Lufthansa Airbus A319
    G-TAWW TUI Boeing 737-800
    9H-LOI Lauda Air Airbus A320
    G-TUKR TUI Boeing 737-800
    EI-HGW Ryanair Boeing 737 Max8-200
    9H-SWK Sun Express Airbus A320
    PH-EZM KLM cityhopper EMB 190
    OM-OEX Jet2 Boeing 737-800
    EI-DWD Ryanair Boeing 737-800
    EI-EXE Ryanair Boeing 737-800
    EI-EKO Ryanair Boeing 737-800
    G-TUIO TUI Boeing 787-9

Just as I got home an Asiana Airlines Airbus A350-900 HL8360 routing of my house for London Heathrow. I cant remember the last time I had a Korean Airliner fly over my house.

Early Morning Manchester Airport!

So today I had the chance of some extra work in the Manchester area. I couldn't be there till after 7am so I called in at the Airport to see what was about.

I know Manchester is a much bigger airport than Birmingham and the amount of passengers and aircraft movements is double if not more, but compare this log to yesterdays log of Birmingham and you can really see the difference. I've said it many times before and will many times more. Manchester is the best spotting airport in the UK and in my top 5 in Europe.

Back To Good Old Birmingham

So tit was was back working around the Kitts Green area of Birmingham today. The runway in use today was runway 15, which was great because the aircraft was coming low over the area I was working and I could read the registrations off the aircraft without the scope.

There wasn't much that I required today apart from the Turkish Airlines Airbus A321Neo TC-LPN (which I managed to see from a job later in the day at West Bromwich, Whilst the aircraft was about to turn on to finals).

The following where noted at around 10:00 from the Multi Storey Car Park:

    G-EZOM easyjet Airbus A320
    F-HBLY Air France EMB190
    TC-SME Sun Express Boeing 737 Max8

    G-NEWG 2Excel Boeing 737-700
    G-JZBE Jet2 Boeing 737-800
    G-TUIL TUI Boeing 787-9
    9H-VVM Ryanair Boeing 737 Max8-200
    HB-AFN Zimex ATR72F
    G-HLYA Jet2 Airbus A321

A few that what was noted over head At west Bromwich whilst on finals:
