Edinburgh Airport days spotting

 

My first ever trip north of the boarder spotting took me to Edinburgh. 

I flew out of Birmingham Airport (BHX) on board easyjet Airbus A320 G-EZOT. AIn little over 50 minutes I was touching down on runway 06. As we taxied in there Donald Trumps own Boeing 757 which had bought over his son Eric. Sadly I departed whilst I was boarding my flight home.

After stopped at the shop for some snack is was straight to the mound at the 06 end of the runway.

Why Edinburgh? I want to catch the beautiful looking Emirates A350 But sadly this time of yeah it's dark on its arrival and it was time to catch my flight home. Other of note for me today were the two transavia France Boeing 737-800 and probably the star of the was a Irish Air Corps CaSA C-295MPA.

Most of the movements today were the low cost carriers ie easy jet ryanair, the national carriers Lufthansa Air France British Airways Turkish Airlines. Norwegian Transavia France and Turkish company Pegasus where also seen.

The weather was very cold but what else would you expect being in Scotland in March, the sun was on my side being out most of the day, but by 16:00 I couldn't stand the cold any longer and headed back to the Terminal for a warm and to recharge my mobile phone.

Being already checked in straight through security and into the departure lounge. From here you can still get great views of the runway and manage to catch all the action. With the lounge lights refecting off the glass photos would turn out that good.

My ride back to Birmingham (BHX) was on board easyjet Airbus A320 G-EZTG. So that another two aircraft I've Flown on.  

I will certainly be returning here. But I think in peak season when the likes of Delta Airlines And Hinan Of China return.
