Back on the road once again with work allowed me to call in at Birmingham Airport hoping that my last aircraft of the current One Air fleet was still on the ground. The aircraft was filed to depart Birmingham at around 1030, My arrival time was going to be around 1150. Just as I approached the 33 End of the runway on the A45 I could hear the loud roar of something thundering down the runway, and for my first bit of luck in ages their it was powering out.
I made a quick stop at the local services and a check of flight radar showed the Lufthansa Cargo Airbus A321P2F had just landed.
